Happy Birthday Miley !!!

Our darling little Miley is now 1 year old! What a journey it’s been, from being a bump in mummy’s tummy, to the wonderment of her first few weeks, then onto cheeky 6 months and now to her 1 year milestone! Those who have been following Miley’s blog posts would know that this brings us to the end of our “Watch Me Grow” journey … well for now anyway. I’m sure Miley will continue to grow into a beautiful young lady and make many memories of her own.  We feel so proud and honoured to have been part of Wade and Sarah’s life and been able to capture such precious memories of their beautiful little girl’s first year.

Thanks for inviting us to her birthday party. Hope you enjoyed the little something from us :-)

Miley playing with her very cute tutu…

Ready for some dancing?

Aawwww made my heart melt when she ran and jumped into mummy’s arms

Even Lolly, the dog wanted to play…

After a little while, Miley just retreated quietly to her reading corner… she just loves her books

A cheeky look out at the park … showing us her little pearlies

Oh oh..little tanty…

This one makes us smile and giggle every time…

Back inside and making her way up the stairs…

… for some precious time with mummy and daddy

‘Can you still see me?’

Happy first birthday cheeky Miley! Hope that when you grow older and look back,  you’ll be able to enjoy the memories as much as we have enjoyed creating them for you! Thanks for playing with us and entertaining us so much! Hope you have many more great birthdays and beautiful memories. Until we see you again …. much love to all three of you!

Todd & Anita – Wedding

It was a magical day by the Dockside at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane, where Todd & Anita got married. The back drop was against a mariner of yachts and cruisers as well as the nearby, renowned, Storey Bridge. These two were easy going, laid back and great to share some laughs with.  Todd even shared some of his creative genius with us, which we’ll show you in one of the images below. :-) These two are good friends of Gavin & Angela, who we photographed almost 2 years ago!  It was certainly a nice change for us to have some city goodness to shoot in.  Sit back and enjoy these teasers…

The beautiful Anita…

This one was inspired by Todd. Possible home page material? :-)

Hope you are enjoying your honeymoon and thanks for being so fun to work with!

Peter Pan – Never Say Never

The highly talented CAPE gooseberries are at it again! Last year we got to photograph and experience their mid winter pantomime – Robin Hood. This year they’re back and just as witty and entertaining as ever! Boy we have some great talent here in the north coast.

This time our good friend and fellow photographer – Brian Pamphilon from Lighthouse Bay Photography is playing the part of Captain Hook and is just as convincing in his role as last year’s Widow Black.

Again playwright and director, Bryony Pearson has shown us her wonderful talent both as writer as well as actor! Of course the rest of the cast has familiar faces and come together very well to weave the story and display their theatrical forte.

Craig and I will be attending the show to celebrate our 5th year anniversary – YAY!  Be sure to check out their program and come along for a night of guaranteed laughter – shows run from 14-16 May.

Here’s a sneak peak of some ‘behind the scenes’ shots…

THE HEROS…

Peter and his trusty shadow

Wonderful Wendy in flight to Never Never

THE VILLAINS…

Evil hOOk

Dangerously innovative Q

Passionately diabolical $MP$

…….

Oh….. and another hero of course :-)

Anthony & Becky Wedding

What a gorgeous wedding! Becky was a stunning bride and Anthony her suave groom … and what a property to get married on!! With fantastic weather, the peaceful sound of flowing water through the surrounding creek, lush rain forest and being in the presence of friends and family from near and far, set the scene for a wonderful day. All the time and effort that these two had put into preparing their Rosebank home for their big day had definitely paid off. It was absolutely beautiful!

Here are some images to help bring back some memories from your special day.

First Becky got ready at her good friends’ salon – the amazing  GLO at Bangalow.  Not only a perfect place to get your hair and make-up done, but also an incredible place to take pre wedding images.  Thanks again Andrea :)

The pristine setting where the wedding was about to take place.  A small section of an amazing back yard!

With so many beautiful places on their own property we didn’t have to go anywhere else to capture these stunning images….

Thanks for allowing us to be part of your special day. Enjoy a wonderful life together

Nathan & Chelsea E-session

Having come all the way from Newcastle for the Easter long weekend, these two were absolute troopers. Not only had we been having incessant rain for the last 3 weeks, but the day before their scheduled e-session, Chelsea came off her motorbike and ended up on crutches – Ouch! Nonetheless they were still ready to roll and we juggled the times and managed to get some clear weather in Ballina for their e-session – ssswwweet!

These two were great to work with. Their cheekiness (especially Nathan’s) and humorous nature meant that they were very easy going and fun to shoot! Nathan would have done anything for the camera :-P

6 months of rendering work for the bling bling…committed!

A rare moment of chivalry… couldn’t get anymore Aussie :-)

We hope you had a safe trip home and we’ll see you in November for your wedding!

Anthony & Becky E-session

Hallelujah for some break in the rain on Good Friday! We seized this opportunity to get together with Anthony and Becky to shoot their e-session before their wedding in 3 weeks time!!! What a fantastic afternoon we had as well…surprisingly warm and best of all no wind or rain!! It was great hearing about how these two met on their separate traveling jaunts through Peru and their exotic travel tales since. Anthony and Becky also run a business called Top Snap, specialising in real estate photography. So anyone looking to aid the process of selling their property with great images, should definitely look into what they offer!  What they can do with specialised gear is truly amazing.

Anyhow here are some teasers from the afternoon.

Looking forward to your wedding in May!

Stuart & Rebecca Wedding

Despite the scatty weather on the weekend, Stuart and Bec’s wedding was fantastic! It was held outdoors at the Ballina Jockey Club followed by a fun and adventurous location shoot at Shelly Beach. We were very humbled to learn how these two chose us as their wedding photographers. They put their complete trust in a very talented photographer friend who recently bought a photography business and moved to London. We were her number one choice out of a list of local photographers. Thanks for trusting us guys – we feel so privileged! Below are some of our favourites of the day :-)

Enjoy your honeymoon in Cairns! See you when you get back
